The November 2025 issue of the Japanese Journal of Pharmacology features a special article entitled "The dawn of 'flexibility' biology unraveled from the cell membrane microenvironment," which includes commentary from each team member in this field.
This special feature defines "resilience" as the ability of cells to cope with various stresses, and aims to develop indicators to quantify resilience and elucidate its molecular nature, providing cutting-edge topics on new technologies to measure cell flexibility with ultra-high resolution, the physiological role of candidate resilience sensor molecules, and the physiological significance of resilience.
