Joint research conference with Membrane Permeability Science was held

A joint research conference with the Academic Transformative Research (B) "Membrane Permeation Science" was held in Kyoto from September 20th to 21st, 2025.

At the conference, cutting-edge research on "biomembranes" in physics, chemistry, and biology, which is being promoted by both fields, was introduced, and lively discussions were held from various perspectives of various fields. The discussions were very lively, and many suggestions were made about the possibility of future research collaboration and new developments through the fusion of different fields.

In order to further expand the results of this exchange, the two fields have decided to cooperate and hold a joint symposium at the 146th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.

Following the lively discussions at the joint research conference, we will hold a joint symposium at the 146th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan as a forum to further develop research exchanges between the two fields.
